a tribute to my beloved knitted beanie whom i lost on a trip 😭💖 i’m glad i took so many pictures of her 🥲🌈 #knitbeanie

she was born of the prettiest hand dyed yarn from @mimi.k_makes 💖🌈

i eagerly watched her grow

and grow

she was there with us when we needed warmth,

when we were out and about,

she even lived under a hat.

she accompanied us to exhibitions,

and across the sea,

even when the winds were gusting us over.

she looked so big on baby heads,

and so silly when she joined me in my dress up play.

most of all, into the night she stayed close as we slept.

i miss you dear beanie,

you were my first and only knitted art.

Many beanies are brought into this world but none lit up the world as she did 🌈✨️🙏. She was beautiful as a flat lay but she truly came alive when she was on your head 🤗🎉. As a work of art, everytime I see her I find new gems and surprises 🎆. She looked fabulous with the random pompoms too.
